Kamaoa Rd - Walkthru & Public Hearing
#41
No vista? The views are beautiful out there. I guess BJ Leithead-
Todd never walked the road herself. Maybe she should have.

One last gasp on this forum, blog whatever. Mr KC should google KKWA.org and inquire re. H2O mtrs. I no longer serve that community, if he can squeeze my ph# from one of my pals down there I'd be glad to talk off the record about H2O issues until the Kau's come home.

They both are known as VERY developer-friendly, or as described in some countries "on the take." [Wink][Wink][Wink] Bobby Jean Leithead-Todd signed off on a new 400-unit Alii Drive condo complex with a "no significant impact" note, even though the traffic is already backed up way past of this new proposed condo complex every morning. I can't even imagine how the cars will merge onto Alii Drive from that complex! I'm sorry, but approving something like that proves that the person is either stupid, or ignorant, or ...! (Lets just not go there!) Needless to say the Council rubber-stamped the project based on that recommendation.

Aloha Eric -

That's Ms Cat [Big Grin] --- Betty helped me with info. What I was going to ask you info which I assumed you might know - size of line, technical info the DWS doesnt seem to have, etc.

Have a nice day.

PS I have been down here a long time, just as a renter unti May so the KKWA sqaubbles did not involve me. I understand that you were just trying to do the right thing and I admire that attitude.

She serves at the discretion of Mayor Kenoi. She is an appointed official.
Assume the best and ask questions.

As Commissioner Reagan (Tom Selleck) said " I serve at your pleasure Mayor, but I serve the people of the city".

IMO, BJLT absolutely does NOT serve the people. Neither does Ashida nor Goodenow. Someone posted that "just heard Lincoln Ashida hired Ken Goodenow to work in Coroporate Counsel
after he was let go by the new majority."

Anyone know if this is true? OK, we now have a pretty decent council. How do we replace the likes of BJLT, Ashida, Goodenow, and later Kenoi et al...permanently?

There will be another election in two years.

Can't come soon enough, but the biggest challenge is to educate the public here. While they were turning on the lights all over the USA, it got even darker in Hawaii. Do you guys think the new Council will be better? It's always East vs. West, and we are now "embracing" the West majority, but "majority" is not a solution. Just look what the East majority accomplished. We need a Council that represents the best interest of the whole island, we need a Mayor that represents the best interest of the whole island, including the appointment of people to positions! Don't we already have enough losers in power? [Sad][Sad][Sad]
