Tthe part that gets me is that this is an 18 year old, whose Dad is complaining. I can't believe she hasn't been living with worse. Maybe she didn't get "out" often? And they have no TV. I admit, I wouldn't watch Deadwood because of the language. I made a choice. I agree with Pam, the young woman should have just found a different instructor.

UHH lecturer's. Minimum Masters (for most of the programs, some do have equal. experiece), PHD preferred
Pay start: $1263/credit hour....
to get to $80K, you would need to teach 60 credit hours per year....(for students, full time is 24-30 credits/year)

So, at three credit hours for most classes (some labs are one credit), a lecturer would have to teach roughly 10 classes per semester, or a little less if summer courses are included, to reach $80k. That's at least twice what most lecturers do, is it not?
