HFS FCU is putting $5 in your account/s if you go green and get electronic statements instead of in the mail!

A small bottle of window cleaner is what, $3-$4 at the store. But a gallon of windshield washer fluid at the auto store is $1-$2, same stuff. Save your spray bottle and fill it up with windshield washer fluid.

Donivan - I can go you one cheaper: white vinegar and water 50/50. Cuts the grease and does the job without streaks. Cider and wine vinegars work too, but white is cheaper and available by the gallon.

Use old newspaper to wash windows with. No streaks! But fingers may get black from ink.

@Rene - The last time I checked for vinegar, the price was outrageous! I do use it sometimes and love it for mirrors, but Donivan has a great suggestion with the windshield fluid...it's great.

I don't use newspapers for windows...my cleaning rags that are best for windows are old cut-up soft bath towels...fabulous! I squeegee them with plain warm water and then spray my cleaner and wipe. The first rinse with the warm water really gets the salt and other particles off the window before I shine it.[Smile]
