Hello,
I want to buy and get delivered a used shipping container to our property near Volcano. Probably a 20 footer. Any recommended companies to work with?
Cheers,
Steve

I used affordable portable housing. They seemed OK although others seemed to have issues with them. There is also Container Storage Company of Hawaii.

There was a recent posting for one on Craig's List. If you are using it to transport goods, it MUST have a seaworthy certificate. This is a paper, filled out by a Marine Surveyor, certifying that your ‘tainer is water and airtight, and it has an expiration date. Make sure that the date gives you enough time to move it.....

Do you remember (ballpark) what affordableportablehousing charged for a delivered container?
Did anybody get one of their "container offices" or was it a regular container.

Last time I checked affordableportable lists prices on the site. plus you have to call the trucking company to transport from the dock or yard which added $500 for me so might be more now. I bought a box from Hawaii modular space the established player with the ubiquitous blue &white signs. You have to call them- they don't list prices. What does that say? I wouldn't pay more than what the modular space rep quotes you.I think everybody else prices off them.
