Hey ohanamama Mr. Sakai (George) doesnt have sand that i know of but you might try the aqarium store that just opened up its located behind mazda in keukaha!!!*(:

Mr Sakai is closed between 12 and 2, which seems to be when I am in the area. He also sells birds.

Does any one know if "Richard the Guppy Guy" that Hotzcatz mentioned in '08 is still around and how to reach him?

I have ended up with 2 tanks of really pretty and varied guppies, but I like to shake up the gene pool every once in a while. I have mostly what I call my Kamehameha guppies, because their colors and patterns remind me of Kamehameha butterflies. I crossed leopard spotted male guppies with various females guppies that had a lot of red, added a tequila sunrise male and then kept pulling all males that didn't have good tails. Now I have some really bright colored females, in addition to assorted fancy males, and am culling the plain females.

I want to throw a new color/patterned male into the tank where I put my females that are ready to throw babies, because right now everybody in my tanks are probably cousins on both sides.
