puna fresh foods becomes foodland
#21
My last two gallons of milk did not hold up as well as usual. The date was OK. I find most stuff there to be ok, but like everywhere else, I have to check the pull dates on most things.
Peace and long life

The link to the article in yesterday's paper doesn't work today.
Can someone sum up what is going to be happening?
I shop there because my PO Box is right there.
Is the store going to just change ownership or is it closing and re-opening?
Thanks

That's an old article, hd. The grocery already changed hands and is now a Foodland. Has been for some time. Thread was revived to discuss comestibles past their sale date.

Had to look up 'comestibles.' Guess that's why I'm lousy at crossword puzzles!

The beast way to move items that are about to use by date expire is to put a red Manager Special sticker on them w/ a 50% discount (works for me everytime) cause a couple of days old on most stuff is just fine.
