They'rrrrrre back!
#1
The best-known purveyors of noise and annoyance are back in the skies above Orchidland today.

A silver chopper has been flying circles around our neighborhood for nearly a half-hour.

Gee, hasn't it been just a couple of months since we were so hassled?

BTW, that link has telephone numbers for reporting noisy and obtrusive aircraft activity.

It may be related to Carey's post about a Coast Guard helicopter, as that was apparently also used in March.

Doesn't the CG have better things to do? And doesn't our government have better things on which to spend our limited taxpayer money?

And why does everyone living in a rural area have to be treated like criminals?

And now I see the silver chopper several hundred feet away with a person dangling from the bottom of a long red cable.

Sure is fun living in a war zone.

What street was that on? Sounded as though he was going to land from up here on 40th.

Just flew back over us on his way back toward the highway, red cable trailing below.

Currently the chopper seems to be operating between 38th and 39th, perhaps closer to 38th.

They were down in lower HPP also. Actually they were circling right around our house. We had about 30 planters of basil growing in containers that we moved right into the middle of our backyard for maximum sun. They probably thought it was something else....
