Imagine "Puna" in all of the other "parallel worlds!"

Come on Rob, I'm not sure it's so far afield. I'm pretty sure there are some Dagon worshippers in Puna, and I know I've seen some people with "the Innsmouth look" around.

Bob, do you feel strangely drawn towards the ocean? Have unusual dreams of it? Could be a sign...

Hi Rob Yes I have indroduced some unusual topics ,
Rob QUOTE:
"Bob, So far you have brought forth a raft of topics from chem trails to suspicions of military secret missions to aliens to parallel worlds. Your enthusiasm is great but it is generally far afield of community discussions of community issues".

I was waiting to reply to you with a sensible missive, however this is what I come up with:
Although we are in a sense surrounded by fish, as we live in Hawaii, we do not live in a fish bowl that excludes us from outside influences, because whether we like it or not, we do not live in isolation from the rest of the world no matter how hard we might wish it to be so. We live on what might argubley be "the most strategic place on planet earth ", for economic reasons , and our paticular location on the most remote island in the world , ( as far as distance to any other land mass), and as an incredibly important military point on the globe.
All of these add up to interconnectivity with out side influences that we cannot ignor as a reality. We are very important here!
You continue to urge me to get my own website, and I would if that were possible. As I have said in the past I experience real time interference with most of the work that I am trying to do here in Hawaii, and just to trying to log on - say picasso for example, where I wanted to post some stills was impossible for me as "they", kept interfering with the registration process to the point that I had to give up.
All my posts are at least interesting, if not relavent, to the people living here , to our community, here in Puna Hawaii, and I see that reflected in the #of views on topics I post. Whether or not you agree with what I post on , there are many here who at least want to look at them for a different perspective of our exsistence on planet earth Hawaii.
I would urge Punatalk users to back me up here with some sort of show of interest by any comment that furthers my ability to make more posts that are always concerning Puna IN a direct way, or by means of showing the contexual relationships that must be interweaved at times in these posts.
A few , should not be able to quench the truth - yes the truth . It is up to you Rob to let this go on or not - whatever you decide , I am grateful that I have reached as many in Puna as I have and thank you for that.
Sincerely, Robert Mage

Well Bob,

I have heard it all before over the last ten years. Every drop of rain that falls on Kazakhstan will eventually fall on Puna. I get it.

This is not the site for such inter-connectivity.

If, as you say, there is an audience for your topics that just makes my point for me. Start your own web site and/or have one of your supporters help you with it. The internet has become very accessible to even you.

I wish you well with your future web site. You may announce it here when it comes online.

Bob... Where to start. Well, you are a conspiracy theorist wing nut. Harmless and funny, but a wing nut nonetheless. I'm sure you are a great guy and decent human being, but from chem trails to ufos and from illuminati to militaria, it's all too much for me. However, I think you have found some audience here and would benefit from www.Opihikaobob.com becoming a reality. That way you can reach an audience beyond Puna.

Bob, I for one have no interest in your posts. I've heard it all before, so many times. You need psychiatric help, really you do.
Good luck with your new website.

Rob

Do you remember this from Tiffany's site :

"Robert Mage is sitting with me right now telling me his allegations that Puna Geothermal Venture is run by Halliburton and he has heard geothermal only gives the island 17 percent. He has plenty to say about this subject, tried to leave comments here and he alleges there are powers that be that are interfering with his attempt to inform readers of Big Island Chronicle. He wants people to know his belief that PGV is run by Halliburton and wants people to probe this."

You commented on this back in 2011.

I'm sorry but I believe someone should throw a net over Bob and he should get some kind of help !!

Wordpress and Blogger (https://wordpress.org/ and https://www.blogger.com/) have free websites where you can post pictures, videos and opinions to your heart's content. They both have some very strange people posting blogs there including the sort of stuff Bob wants to post - and often much weirder. Plus there are free support fora. I use blogger and it's very easy to use. I've never used wordpress so don't know too much about about that. In any case, there's no reason Bob can't use either unless he's incompetent. Even if that's the case, blogger has help and support for those that can take a few minutes of their time to use them. Both will allow you to set up your own domain if you want for a small charge. You can even include a link to your blog in every Punaweb post you make - free of charge thanks to Rob - so people here who may want to follow Bob's stuff can follow the link.

I hope this helps.

Sorry, I'm behind Rob on this. It's his site, it's his rules.

"It's good to be the King!" but it's better to be a good King.

I think are excellent reasons why Punawebbers accept Rob as King:

- he has kept the mission of Puna clear and consistent through the years: keep the focus on Puna and Hawai'i while at the same time not being absolutist or dictatorial about lines of discussion.

- he shares but does not impose his points of view on the discussions. He does not try to make Punaweb a platform for Rob.

- he has never attempted to leverage Punaweb for his own profit.

I greatly admire Rob's initiative, judgement and fortitude in maintaining and administering Punaweb. This site is a testament to the best side, and the complexity, of the Internet. I am sure my family has benefited greatly from this wonderful resource.
