Tiffany Edwards Hunt running for Council

I used to admire Ms. Hunt and found her blog interesting until her big bruhaha with her next door neighbors, who had the audacity to apply for the same zoning as hers. That was a bit over the top and pretty obvious she was more afraid of possible competition than anything else.

No, Ken, I did not expect a full confrontational approach. A good journalist knows how to ask probing questions without intentionally insulting the interviewee. This was not done. Every person I know who has seen or read the interview has described it as a whitewash, and that includes one friend of my wife who supports Edwards Hunt because she likes her "pitbull" attitude. I still can't figure that one out.

For immediate release. Tiffany Edward Hunt took her site Big Island Chronicle (BIC)down this evening in response to a post that I made on a thread about SB 2274. I was polite. I used no swear words or vicious name calling. I was not rude or lascivious. Tiff probably won't admit it but she's done it before. I just got back on BIC, thanks to a mutual friend of Tiffany and I, who contacted Tiffany to find out what was up and presto I was allowed back on Tiff's blog. How can Tiff be a fair and impartial council person if she can't even tolerate a difference of opinion to the point where she takes her whole site down? I'm sorry but I think that is a sign of mental illness or childishness. Either way it makes her unfit to serve! You have to be able to take the heat as well as the cool. Below is a portion of what I posted on BIC. I lost the rest because I typed it right into her site... "Punated, you are so right on time! That is my objections to this bill too. It is not that I object to eco-villages, sustainability or conservation of resources but SB 2274 is not about sustainability it's really about development and denying the neighbors the right to object. This bill would allow developers to destroy the forests lands around Kehena beach so they can build malls, roads, restaurants and stores all under the guise of "sustainability" with almost NO oversight!!! What is sustainable about that? Graham Ellis tried to bamboozle the community by making us believe that SB 2274, the bill he admittedly authored with attorney's, was for everyone. That was easy to do because hardly anyone read the contents of the bill including journalist, bloggers and the so called "watch dogs". Unfortunately for us the watch dogs have been given a fat steak and now they are over in the corner sleeping or growling at us for opposing SB 2274." SHAME ON SENATOR RUDERMAN FOR INTRODUCING THIS SPECIAL INTEREST LEGISLATION, SB2274!!!

When I read stuff like this, despite all the beauty, all the culture, all the people, all of everything that makes this place so special, so good, so glorious, there sure are some truly warped people here. Your post is inflammatory, libelous, slander, outrageous and ridiculous. No matter how correct your opinion is on this bill. Other than owing an apology to Tiffany, you owe each and every citizen an apology for posting such inane babble.

Ken,you explain to me how it could be that you could say those humorous and ludicrous things about me and my interaction with Tiff? If you want to see Tiff in that seat then vote for her but I know who she is and what she is capable of and I know better. Don't try to make a silks purse out of a sow's ear. Do not tempt me to tell the truth about my interactions with Tiffany Edward Hunt and what she has been doing for the past 7 years to this community. Ken, I think this whole thread you have been trying to go up stream without a paddle. Whatever happened to free speech? This is why I like Punaweb...for better or worse here is a forum where you are allowed to disagree without retribution from the moderator. For that I can appreciate Rob Tucker.
P.S. Ken, I am glad that you agree with what I said about SB 2274 and I think you suffer from blind loyalty which makes you bias beyond all belief as I read it in this thread.

TomK, BIC and my post is up but you haven't heard from me because I am blocked from the site again and I am not the first person to experience this very rude and childish behavior!

Your just a little too hysterically bias for Tiff. She doesn't need your help she can defend herself and when she does tell her to put it in the smallest font like she does in her paper. Really Ken...WHY DON'T YOU LET TIFFANY DEFEND HERSELF IF YOU FEEL LIKE SHE IS BEING ATTACKED!
