What the previous posters said was that advertising an arsenal and your location on the internet is not a good idea. Just like you don't announce on Facebook that you are going on vacation and will be away from home. You are mistaking wisdom for a threat.
Not the way it was worded, with insult included.
The people on PunaWeb, are people that went out searching for information before they move, and a few leftovers that moved here and still visit the site. Locals don't even know about this site, I've asked.
SO if you insult me and call me a target, I will understand it that I am a target to YOU.
Back to topic, regardless of unemployment rates, that doesn't justify letting some punk thieves go around smacking peoples grandparents up.
Ill say it until I am blue in the face, you can leave your homes unprotected, but don't whine when someone is tying you up and beating your wives. You did nothing about it.
If you really have an issue, arm yourself and do something about it.
And for the uneducated that are like "oh the thieves will take your guns", you know nothing about firearms nor their keeping. I keep my guns loaded and off safety so I can defend myself if needed. In order for that to happen, you shouldn't leave a loaded gun laying about, it stays in a bolted safe with FP ID. Unless someone wants to come and chop my hand off, or get a bulldozer to take the safe out of the 4X4's, they could never get in my safe. But if you were a responsible gun owner you would know these BASIC things.
Thats what makes me laugh, those with opinion are the least educated on gun ownership. Go take a shooting course, learn a few lessons and maybe you won't be so scared to protect yourselves nor pass judgement on people that don't want to be at the mercy of punk thieves.

You seem to have some anger issues oneself, but make some good points about responsible and safe gun ownership.
I don't want to put words in your mouth, but am I to understand that you wouldn't want people that are untrained, insane, or without gun security equipment(locks, safes, etc)to have possession of firearms?
I feel that way myself, but most pro gun(NRA)people don't seem to like ANY restrictions on gun ownership.

As hard as I try, I can't find a single threat or insult made by punaperson. Based on the other responses, it appears to be all in your head Oneself.
Hey, I'm all for responsible gun ownership. But I have a question: In your training, did someone tell you that it was a good idea to broadcast on the internet that you own guns including the address where you keep them?
Punaperson wasn't painting a target on you; he was letting you know that you might be painting a target on yourself.
Since you appear to be hyper-sensitive and defensive, I'll state for the record that no threats or insults were intended by this post. I sincerely hope you find happiness here in Hawaii. And I sincerely hope you'll learn to chill, keep an open mind, and let your neighbors help you.

Oneself (Chris) made himself a target when he came here with the Florida state of mind... this i'snt Florida, or Connecticut.
people were co existing just fine before he got here.. and will continue to after he leaves.
My suggestion would be to learn about the people and what they have been through before telling them how they need to live.
Couple sidenotes, Dude, your whole life is spread out over the internet..if you'are going to piss off a whole county... at least be anonymous.
also... if you have guns, you have thirty days I believe to register them.. not doing so would be a class C felony.
if you shoot and kill someone , no matter the reason you will be charged with second degree murder guaranteed. then it will be up to you to prove your Innocence
...its not the cops job or concern to prove your Innocence..
you are only what..35, you've got some growing up to do yet....Good luck.
