To get a sense of the difference between vehicle fuel cost on Hawaii and the mainland, so people can compare cost of living, the following are current fuel cost in the metro Denver area:

CNG $1.72 (estimated per gallon equivalent - does not include tax credit rebate)
Diesel $3.49

How does this compare to the Big Island?
