"Where would it end???"
Where all subdivisions In Puna have their own forum. Not that many. Then I can pick and choose whom to read.

I think this is a temporary situation caused by an unusual combination of events (actions of a brand new board that many people have strong feelings about crossed with a lava flow causing the county to rush an emergency route to the edge of HPP) that have brought about the high level of HPP related posts. If you take the long view this really won't last that long and some other set of topics will come to the forefront. Most of the HPP threads are labelled as such, just skip them if they don't interest you, but a lot of the issues are similar in other subdivisions, especially issues related to the private/public road conundrum. A wide range of people are weighing in on these issues, not just HPP residents and owners, so it seems to interest a lot of people here.

I totally agree with you Carol. You seem to be the reasoning voice around here, and I love to read your comments.

I don't see any complaints about HPP and kalakoa and I don't live in
HPP.

My post was in reference to kalakoa sounding like a broken record.

Royal's post:
The county is putting "official" Double County yellow lines on the road!

kalakoa's reply:

"Either that or County is "vandalizing" someone's "private property"."

and then kalakoa posts this which validates my complaint about kalakoa:

"You cannot pave the roads or fix the firehouse with forum posts, no matter how frequent or vitriolic."

Well Obie, I am finding all of this to be a good source of information, as well as having a few bursts of laughter.
I am getting the gist out of it. Finally!
