Well, wouldn't that just be the icing on the cake?!
It would seem that we as a collective community are being tested and frankly I think most of us are ready for a well deserved holiday.
I don't think Hollyweird on their best day could come up with our realities of late.
I have found that all I have to do to make it rain at my place is think about what all I would like to do in the yard that day and poof!, just like magic, the grey clouds start coming overhead and before you know it the all to familiar pitter-patter on the roof begins. If that doesn't work, washing the car almost always does the trick.

There were a lot of trees damaged during Iselle that didn't actually fall, but are really damaged. Check your property for trees that are leaning, or partly uprooted and deal with them before this new storm does it for you. The neighboring property with Oahu owners had some really big albizia come down, one is leaning into another tree that will take out two sets of fences and a residence on the lot behind us when it goes.

NOAA long range forecast does suggest higher temps and less rain for OND2014.

These guys must have been smoking a fatty when they predicted this. And I fell for it and felt good in my safe dry little world. HA HA HA and not in a good way.

You gotta do what is right for you.

Taking off the roof always works here, and it usually rains WHILE we're getting the water tank filled even if it hasn't in weeks.
The plants are watered the tanks are full now. No road dust either.
Maybe it's time to stop the rain dance.
I've got enough icing on my cake.

If you strip a roof to replace it the weather will instantly go up to the high 90s or proceed to set records for rain, or do both while you try to put your new roof on.
