Here is a closeup, it shows the center south of the island. However, it is still more than 100 miles away and the prediction is a slight turn to the north west as it goes by. Looking to the east isn't going to indicate anything, it is coming from the south.

Lol, I really laughed at your comment on Mileka, 2liveque, spot on.
Hagi deserves ribbing for his Oahu surf focus, but hey he's a passionate surfer who lives Oahu so ... But during storms, he has a special segment and he really does love to tell people to prepare for the worst. I stand by saying neither he or the dramatic Mileka would downplay the storm.
