Kea'au Christmas Parade Time again!!

Hmmmm....thinking this would be wonderful and bringing some no-bake chocolate oatmeal cookies.
What time does this start?

The Cookie Exchange set up this year will be along Keaau Pahoa road, across from Kikania street... on the Keaau Elem side of the road, slightly over 1/2 way between the Elem & Keaau Inter....map:

The parade starts at 5:45, and the road closure advisory for the parade route from Pahoa-Keaau Rd closure at the Keaau HS to Old Volcano just before the 76/7-11 station is Keaau has been posted as 5:45... but I would plan to get there earlier...even before 5pm

Overflow parking can be at our house, though it is 3 blocks away, down Kikania then Ohe, almost to Milo.

Just got back from Kea'au. Got the pop-ups set (without the tent part) and the grass chopped under and around them. Looking pretty gloomy today and there is a High Wind Advisory posted. Check this post through out the day for any updates....

Such a wonderful evening with friends at the Kea'au Christmas Parade!! Lots of good food and COOKIES!!! Lots of cookies! Big mahalo to all that helped set up and break down. If you couldn't make it, you missed out on a great time!
