With the complicated structure of the GET, the state must have plenty of tax collectors ready to go. Or not. I dont know but with all the money flowing to Vegas I think we should try to divert some here...

You mean those cardrooms in Chinatown don't attract the criminal element? What about the video gambling places that get busted once a year over in Hilo? Not to mention all the not so casual poker nights at someones home that last all night with cars parked around the corner? Have heard several tales of sportsbetting bankrupting folks just in East Hawaii. Can only imagine Oahu must be worse...

by that reasoning, why leave out prostitution? a Hilo casino/bordello could be a great tourist draw providing a wonderful source of tax revenue.
