Pahoa Pantry & Soup KItchen

Stupid?! Again with the insults of others. I watched you hide behind in the shadows lurking in anonymity, cowardly insulting many good people on this island on multi blogs who have done good work in the community for too long, years, while pulling out your lying, slanted, and twisted views of facts which is pure nonsense and made up fantasy.

You can't even back most of it up. You are the very one who brought up Ruderman stating in a video he is "anti-science" than when called on it you are either too damn lazy or just pure flat out too dishonest to even produce the video because you are "too busy". I can't figure it out. What a clown.

Read the post teddy, the representative has given all the details of the PPSK docs needed and it has satisfied all (I am sure Mr. Furst will answer any more questions in as respectfully and thoroughly ways as possible) but you keep on irrationally and illogically ranting and raving and insulting their motives and documentation. What a loser.

It is because you are a internet troll who is so hard headed, stubborn, and nasty and only accept your own opinion but you heckle and demean people who have a differing opinion. It is not necessary to treat people on a public forum in this way.

You insult a group that is giving food to needy families with kids. Unbelievable.

Who are you to decide how a non profit communicates its message to a community? How they market and advetise to gain support from the community to feed homeless and needy. How they raise money. PPSK is all from private fundraising and a large donor. Read the thread! Who are you to judge and decide. Some social misfit who does nothing but sit around all day, staring at his computer screen in a trance and glazed out look criticizing the good works of other who are making a difference in the community and feeding homeless, needy and underprivileged children.

These people are helping to feed starving children whose parents do not have the means at time do so and you want to lecture us on sematics.

And you have the nerve to call posters here in the past pot heads. I think you have been too much of your companies PGV fumes.

Stupid?! You are nothing but a cyber bully. Tell you what, either roll up your sleeves, be a leader and mobilize people and resources to help a good cause, meet me on Tuesday so we can "get to know each other" or just shut your mouth and stop criticizing good people doing good work.

I have had enough of you.

HH - you seem familiar enough the the goings on here, but need to learn: despite working for a soup kitchen and pantry, it may be best to not feed some of our residents under their virtual bridges.

For those who missed the memo: it's far more important to be "on-message" and have your papers correctly filed than it is to actually serve the community.

It's just not fair to the starving and homeless otherwise; the rest of us had to file tax paperwork and make nice with our boss before we could put food on our tables -- the less-fortunate really need to share in the burden of government regulation before they will be worthy to accept benefits of any kind.

Kalakoa-

Th man of 4,000 plus posts (Wow, I wish I had all that free time to sit around, stare at my computer and post smart aleck remarks all day, every day but I have a private consulting business to run). No it is more important to feed the community (how many children living below the poverty level are going to bed crying because their stomachs hurt because they have not had enough food to eat) and families that are starving.

But, again, you must have missed the memo, Mr. Furst's various posts on the subject or not read the thread in its entirely but all the paperwork seems to be in order.

Like Mr. Tucker has stated earlier, it's not that complicated.

No it is more important to feed the community

This thread suggests otherwise; I'm merely hoping to illustrate the stupidity. Example:

I have a private consulting business to run

Do you pay your GET to the state? Are you registered with DCCA? Did you get an SUP, Home Occupation, or leased C-zoned real estate for your business location? Are you claiming the right deductions with IRS?

...or did you think it was more important to earn a living than to satisfy every last paperwork requirement?

People can't eat paperwork, nor can tax forms be used to fill potholes, and it's pretty clear that government won't use the revenue responsibly... yet the laws of the land place higher importance on meeting regulations than on actually doing anything.

Kalakoa-

Are you an IRS agent? A State tax collector? A building inspector? A planning department official? Or just trying to impress the punaweb community on how you smart you want people to think you are?

Who do you think you are?

My personal and private business is my own personal and private business not yours and I do not have to post in details my private and personal life to satisfy an interrogation of your curiosity and judgment and you have a lot of nerve asking me when you have been posting on this public forum anonymously for years. Hypocrite.

Please!

And Mr. Tucker's policy is he does not want anyone to be outed that does not want to be. And you are asking me private info of my business to be posted on a public forum, yeah hypocrite.

Again, according to Mr. Furst, the docs seem to be in order.

So if you have something of substance with clear fact to add, instead of your parable like innuendo, than ask the question or add substance to the discussion (which from what I have read from your posts you have the capacity to do), but again this group's docs seem to be in order from what I have read in the thread.

Again, this is not complicated.

Helping Hands,
Take the time to clear your mind and then re-read Kalakoas post while keeping in mind it is not attacking you or actually questioning you. I see this happen frequently on punaweb. It's partly why I seldom participate here much anymore. There's far too many internal emotions applied to what others write and consequently what was written is interpreted based on the readers emotional state and incorrectly.

ETA... BTW, I myself have done the same as have most here.

You're right, I get it.

I agree with a lot of Kalakoa's past writings.

It's clowns like Pahoated who would rather regulate, compliance and paperwork organizations and businesses to death (but the groups he favors does not need to follow the rules, talk about a self righteous double standard), cast ignorant judgments on people and groups doing great work (and hurting their ability to acquire the resources and good will needed to do more good work) than repulsively defend the theft of our tax payers dollars by an elected official (talk about an apologist) all while hiding behind his keyboard.

This group seems to have everything in order, Mr. Furst has answered all questions (and if there are other docs or issues that have to be addressed than we can have transparency and openness to ask them to address in a civil manner as a community, not like pahoated's cries of "fraud") and I could not restrain myself from writing my thoughts.

If Pahoated had any guts (like he does on various on-line threads), we can meet up and get to know each other. I would drive over special to speak with him.

No, it's not -- someone was feeding the hungry, asked for donations, suddenly the tax status of the organization was apparently more important than their actual mission.

I do not have to post in details my private and personal life to satisfy an interrogation of your curiosity

Correct, you are not accountable to me ... but, if we're to properly value compliance over actual deliverables, clearly this audit should extend to all tax entities, especially the self-employed. (We can safely assume that all the big corporations are filing all relevant paperwork and paying their fair share.) Who knows how much potential tax revenue might be leaking out of our collective economy? As but one example: the less-fortunate aren't being taxed on the retail value of these "free" meals. Clearly, this rampant "cheating the system" must be fixed before we can worry about the irrelevant problems of hunger or homelessness.

What the freak? This thing has more shell companies than Enron. This is what has been provided by the OP:

International Church of the Four Square Gospel - foreign nonprofit
Puna Four Square Church - registered by Four Square Gospel above
New Hope Christian Fellowship Puna - another arm of Four Square Gospel
Pahoa Pantry and Soup Kitchen - claim to be under New Hope

Four Square is a gigantic megachurch with over 1600 locations, headquarter in LA, figures. There are references that suspect the church is a cult. It is definitely an invented religion if you read the history. It is on a cult watch list.
http://www.oac.cdlib.org/findaid/ark:/13...tire_text/
This "church" has been in trouble before for not filing properly.

The point is why so much deceit for a church? Why isn't this feed just being called Four Square cult recruitment rather than give it a deceptive name like Pahoa Pantry and Soup Kitchen, claim it is a 501c3 when it isn't, and a claim to be an arm of another church to give it legitimacy. And why is food being taken from a Kalapana food bank, meant to be distributed evenly to families in need, rather than the advancement of some huge cult megachurch? Why isn't the church just providing this food, they have plenty of money. Why is this food being mooched?

Yeah, your poo flinging is humorous. From my life experiences, I have found self-annointed new age christians to be the most vicious and deceptive people I have had the unfortunate experience to run across. If these people are christians, then satan is god. Your responses so far have only reinforced these observations. This church, like every other church, is a big scam, for the material betterment of the priest class. This place is crawling with these schemes, like THC Ministry and the Reverend Christie. In a way, THC Ministry is preferable to this thing, at least it showed the only thing it worshiped was money and getting high.

By all means, keep it up. There is some validation for the motivation of this scam, it was in the news:
“If we push them out of Hilo, they’re going to go to Pahoa.” - Sita Gonzales, chair of the Hilo Downtown Improvement Association’s safety committee

Send them to Pahoa, just get them out of Hilo. The plan is working.

"Aloha also means goodbye. Aloha!"
*Japanese tourist on bus through Pahoa, "Is this still America?*
