I'm gonna reach out on a limb and say I'd think... Assume, that if one could afford a 150 dollar per night at the hilton, than they wouldn't be taking the bus! The taxi drivers have nothing to worry about. But the locals and people that ride the bus have everything to gain.

@ericlp: Those taxi drivers and the politicians they have owned have had no problem in the past forcing the local people and bus riders to pay through the nose to get to and from the airport. That's their worry.

At $100 million dollars per mile, light rail BETTER work.

HART is working just fine -- "all you have to do is" keep in mind that it's not actually a "transportation" system, more of a "giant tax mining operation".

Otherwise it would go to the airport and Waikiki. Currently these are "planned extensions" for the next phase of the tax mining.
