how many nations have been taken over by force by another nation in the last 50 years

What's more likely is us being Nuked due to the US military presence here.
Well, at least we have a choice, just like most elections.

Yes. I'm not talking internal conflicts. I'm talking about one country invading another and forcing them to cede their sovereignty.

A nation that's invaded but doesn't lose it's sovereignty doesn't come out unscathed.
There's an incredible amount of loss and damage to overcome in the aftermath.
