So you concede that what you're saying the US would do would be illegal per international law?

There was the American-Cuban treaty. A lease was signed by both sides without a time limit. Not an occupation.

If Dr. Sai is so confident in his position, why not file the matter directly with the Courts under the claim of illegal occupation, instead of clouding the matter with a dog and pony show that's making him money?

I concede no such notion that the U.S. is illegally occupying Hawaii. It isn't.

He has been, they have been dismissing cases without taking in all facts, siting Mankichi v US as precedent, then the Lorenzo case which argued something totally different that what Dr. Sai is arguing.

The Moloka'i case might be the tipping point in the argument.

No, do you concede that if the US were to be found illegally occupying Hawaii that they would not follow the laws in the Geneva convention?

Dr. Williamson Chang, Professor of Law, has credentials, and speaks to the issue at hand, at the link provided, below this one showing credentials:

Biography: https://www.law.hawaii.edu/personnel/chang/williamson

Here is Dr. Chang's basic argument:

If "Googled" Dr. Chang's dissertations and opinions are many. Worth a read/watch, if you so choose. A brilliant mind, Dr. Chang has laid out the legalities of the overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom over the years, and is a credible addition to the argument.

JMO.

Here's the problem, I'm trying to have a rational argument/discussion about whether Hawaii is being illegally occupied or not.

Every time I rebut a claim your argument devolves into an opinion that the US doesn't need to follow laws, whether it be it's own or international.

Do you understand why there is no debating with you?

The Feds came last year and were dismissed by the Kanakas. That was probably your last good chance to strike a deal. No more. Y`all better vote for Bernie Sanders for prez because without a super leftist at the helm you folks aint got a snowballs chance in hell.
