Hey, 72 is the new 42. That's what he thought, was kind of obsessed.

It just seemed a shooting would show up on nixie faster and now it's up with the suspects name, no victim yet. Most of these domestics were knifings a few years ago, now everybody is whipping out a gun. Wasn't deserteagle50 a big proponent of more guns for Hawaii? Everybody carrying will make for a more aloha Hawaii.

The guy in Waipio was found submerged, didn't see any news about foul play. There are people dying in Waipio all the time, every couple months. Most are the same old story, hiking tourist group, straggler drops behind, unexpected heavy rain, straggler tries to cross flash flood stream, dies. There have been at least half a dozen of those over the past year.

"Aloha also means goodbye. Aloha!"
*Japanese tourist on bus through Pahoa, "Is this still America?*

Any chance of letting us know a little more info about those half a dozen Waipio deaths in the last year - perhaps in a new thread? Seems this kind of info is only known by Dakine and Pahoated, and even Pahoated doesn't know about the multiple deaths there in the last week.

Jeez, how a shooting in Kapoho leads to multiple deaths in Waipio is beyond me.

So, a 72 year old is supposed to let the bat wielder bash his head in? Put me on that jury.

Thanks for the link, Tom. Somewhat confused that "An autopsy will be ordered to determine his exact cause of death." Ummm... being shot?

Here's another news report, which coincidentally includes the tidbits about the Waipio drowning/murder: http://hawaiitribune-herald.com/news/loc...ing-kapoho

It reaffirms the need for an autopsy, while naming the Waipio victim: 49-year-old Thaine Ulysses Lucifer Price.

Lucifer???
