Circle of Death updates

Perhaps if we all chant Doom! three times James Earl Jones can appear and lecture us on the riddle of steel.

What is a steering wheel compared to the hand that wields it? That is strength boy. That is power. The strength and power of flesh. Contemplate this on the monkeypod tree of woe. (first right)

"Conan, what is best in life?"

Crash into your enemies. See them driving before you. Hear the lamentations of their transmission.

I have no idea if anyone here is a fan of the old UK comedy "Dad's Army", but if you are you'll recognize Private Frazer's catch phrase.

I drove the "Arc of Doom" for the first time yesterday, and I must say it is hands-down the most interesting part of the entire highway. I think I like it.

Nice posts. Great way to ridicule the OP into silence. "Circle of Death", really?

I think the OP may have been intentionally over the top. Sarcasm emoticons are sometimes helpful, but not available here.

Sigh, I expect to see bags of trash get tossed under the ferns.
Assume the best and ask questions.

I thought so too Chunkster. Even when it was "The Most Dangerous Intersection In Hawaii" accidents rarely resulted in death or serious injury. Generally I saw drivers looking a little dazed, and plastic getting swept off the roadway. Most of us are having some fun at the expense of the DOT who decided to provide a complex solution to a problem, when simpler or more familiar methods were possible.

The DOT believes we are a people who require at least 3 stop signs on Pahoa Village Road to avoid driving our own cars directly into someone else's car on the highway. In many cases, they're probably right, and that may be why they thought it best to eliminate stop signs altogether.

The " I survived the Circle of Death " Tee Shirts are coming. I figured " Thunder Doughnut " would be too obscure
