Fire, volcanic, or just Geothermal?
#31
The people that live around PGV are fairly positive proof that geothermal does cause mental retardation. Geothermal also leads to dope and drug addiction within a 10 mile radius. Geothermal emissions have debilitating health effects among those choosing to live around it, making them so slow moving and slow thinking that it almost appears they are nothing but lazy free loaders and scammers. It will be great to tear down PGV (Mr. Ignacio, tear down this plant!) and see the transformation of Puna into a shining light, the victory of emotionalism over rationalism, a beacon for the rest of the planet to follow. The sooner we can get rid of PGV, the faster the devolution process can be made, returning forced slave humans back to freedom loving great apes, swinging and running through the jungle, free from the enslavement of clothing and living off the generous, natural bounty that growing in lava rock provides.

At least its not only Puna's geothermal power plant that has had a long history of accidents, bad management, and environmental concerns.

Not hard to find valid reasons to why some property owners (especially the B&B and vacation rentals) fear lower property values could come from a dirty or negative view of this power plant. OR why some residents have just had enough already and would choose the option of relocation, jmo.

Lower property values = lower property taxes.
