While United and American cut back on passenger baggage, seat space, and other amenities, take a look at the personal areas provided for the crew notched into bends and corners of planes used for long haul flights over 10 hours, such as Honolulu to Asia:

I'm glad the flight attendants and especially the pilots have a secluded area to rest for an hour or two, so they can return to their duties functioning at an optimal level. I never realized how nice those areas are.
