TMT - Contested Case Hearing Status - Hilo
I was trying to find what the "lost in the bathroom" reference was all about in the videos of the hearing on October 31st. I haven't found it yet (there's a lot to go through) but did come across this:

http://cdn-origin.peg.tv/vod/T01590/2016...103116.mp4

Specifically, the video from the 46-minute mark to about the one hour mark featuring Brannon Kealoha. This is the guy who called for people supporting the TMT to be killed or beaten.

http://www.ilind.net/2015/04/24/obscenit...upporters/

It's all about himself.

PS. Same thing again in:

http://cdn-origin.peg.tv/vod/T01590/2016...6-h264.mp4

1 hour 50 to about 1 hour 59.

Thanks to Eric1600 for making it so much easier to go straight to the relevant older videos of the hearing.

Unfortunately it appears the naleo server has changed since February and I can't get quasar's link to work for newer videos. I've searched around for a new json link, but I haven't figured it out. Quasar doesn't seem to be posting here and the punaweb email links are broken. Sad

Yea, naleo.tv changed their backend setup to a whole new system. I think the web player is more responsive, but the video quality downscaled a lot more.

There isn't a central listing of video files anymore. Instead, each video needs to be requested to see where the video file is. For instance, here is the latest one, Feb 16 2016:
"https://telvuepmd-a.akamaihd.net/vod/connect-vod/520ae480-f942-0130-6b2d-52540047148e/658250ec-3559-4c87-805b-cf046f0c97a3/vod_solid/b7017fe9-2802-46eb-afd8-b6873afca067_600.mp4"

You can see the video link is much more different, and I think the video quality is worse. If it is useful for people, I can make a script to get the file download locations.

Here are links to files since Jan 31:

Thanks, quasar, I might be interested in getting a copy of a script if you write one (and you don't mind letting me have a copy). What scripting language would it be?

Lanny Sinkin announced this week that he will be working with a new client who is involved with the Dakota pipeline. It appears that he may be skipping the rest of the contested case hearing.

Note that the Temple's 2014 Form 990-N shows no income and no assets.

quasar thanks. I'd like to be able to extract the files if needed. You can either describe the method for querying the links and I can write the script or if you have something it would be great. Either way their on-line player drives me insane and I'd like to scan through the videos.

"There's no such thing as sacred rocks"
Maui Mayor Alan Arakawa

Maui Mayor Alan Arakawa brushed off concerns Friday about the destruction of rocks considered sacred in Iao Valley as part of flood repairs, telling Hawaii News Now that "there's no such thing as sacred rocks."

"The monarchy, starting with Kamehameha ... declared Christianity the religion of Hawaii," Arakawa said. "In Christianity, if I remember the 10 Commandments correctly, thou shall have no false god before me. There are no sacred rocks in that religion."

Shows you how ignorantly (or brilliantly) ballsy the Maui Mayor is. Perhaps its the sign of the times. A time where public officials can blare out what they always had thought, but never had the balls (or time) to say. Remember, Arakawa has always took the build baby build stance on Maui. That is why Maui is the moneymaker it is. Along with these times, Maui has also lost a lot of its soul and charm, but who gives a damn if the $$$$$$ is flowing? Arakawa steers the ship.

When I moved to Maui in the 1980's, that's what the people who moved there in the 1970's always said to me.
