Another delaying tactic?

Kealoha Pisciotta, on behalf of the Mauna Kea Anaina Hou group, filed a petition last week asking the state land board to put online transcripts of testimony ...
On Thursday, another group of opponents informed the hearing officer that the Office of Hawaiian Affairs is helping get the transcripts and will make them available online to all the parties ...
"They should have conferred with us," Pisciotta said of the group, KAHEA: The Hawaiian Environmental Alliance. "That's not what we're asking for. We're asking for the transcripts to be free."
Sounds more like a "delay tactic": demand that transcripts be made available, so they're being made available, but "that's not what we wanted". Huh?

I have to admit I smiled a bit when I read this in the TMT's response:
https://dlnr.hawaii.gov/mk/files/2017/05/627-TIO.pdf
"
Petitioner Kealoha Pisciotta ("Pisciotta") claims that the Petition is being brought on behalf of Mauna Kea Anaina Hou; Pisciotta, Paul Neves, Temple of Lono, Flores-Case Ohana, Hank Fergerstrom, the Freitases, Deborah J. Vlard, Clarence Ching, Mehana Kihoi, and J.Leina'ala Sleightholm (collectively "Petitioning Parties"). Other than Pisciotta, however, none of the Petitioning Parties have signed the Petition. None of the Petitioning Parties have filed a joinder to the Petition."

Interesting that the article also mentions that several libraries now have copies of the transcripts.
Then they can go to the library...

The transcripts have been available for free in five libraries for a while now, but they are hard copies.

The Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law for all parties was due today and you can see them on the documents library. Now Judge Amano takes those under advisement as she forms her own Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law.

the MMJ leader Richard Ha and the PGV plant manager Mike Kaliekini within the pro TMT supporters
I didn't realize people were only allowed to support one cause at a time. Perhaps we can amend HRS 329D to clarify that dispensary license holders must refrain from having opinions about other issues.

Not hard to find the MMJ leader Richard Ha and the PGV plant manager Mike Kaliekini within the pro TMT supporters.
...
I didn't realize people were only allowed to support one cause at a time.
I was wondering about gypsy's comment as well. It sounded to me that he was of the opinion, that pro TMT supporters were not entitled to their own opinions.
gypsy, if I might ask, since you live so close to the PGV plant would it be safe to say that nearly 100% of your grid generated electrical use is directly from the PGV power plant? That when you pay your HELCO bill some of that money supports PGV? That every time you post a jmo about PGV, you use and pay for electricity from PGV? Wouldn't you take a stronger anti PGV stance by NOT using their electricity?
