Motions continue to be made to the hearing officer. This is the latest and a completely bizarre one:

You can't make this stuff up.
One of those judges in the silly wigs would thrown this idiocy out years ago.

The depraved indifference is Gov. Ige not doing his job.
Why should he? He gets paid no matter how ineffective he is.
Recurring theme: nobody wants to take on "the Hawaiians", they have a free pass enshrined in the HRS despite the Constitutional prohibition on establishment of religion.
Later, much hand-wringing about "why don't people Respect The Law".

Nice touch Mr, Fergerstrom & Posse:
"The common law of England shall be the supreme law of the land with exception to Hawaiian Usage or Hawaiian Judicial Precedence."
Since he didn't specify which Hawaiian laws would supersede English law, or the time period with the overriding laws, or the monarch in power... the included Hawaiian laws potentially include any and all, ala carte, to be determined at a later time, as necessary?
If you have Amazon Prime, their video service just added a new TV show you can watch for free called "Hawaiian Sovereignty." It's a 13 episode fictional FBI/Political/Hawaii 5-O genre show with "The Protectors" as their target audience. In the first episode activists take a US Presidential candidate hostage to speak with him about the illegal overthrow.
I don't have time to watch a lot of TV, so after the thrill of the catchy Hawaii 5-O style theme song wore off I had to get on to other things. Has anyone else seen this show? What did you think?

Yup.
And Federal Law is superior to State Law?
Hmmmm, just think back on some local vs. State issues,
some questions about the very legality of OHA and DHHL?
This needs to be explored, could be interesting.

Federal Law is superior to State Law?
Only when it's convenient for the State.
Marijuana? Federal law pre-empts. (Unless you buy a license from the State.)
Sanctuary State for illegal immigrants? State has sovereign rights.

When I watched that I honestly thought I was watching a spoof and thought it had a clever use of poor acting and a ridiculous plot.
I was genuinely shocked to find out it's a real series. So I watched a few minutes of the first episode. It's so bad I think I might actually enjoy it!

Yes, at a about a minute in I thought to myself, "this could only be improved with commentary by the guys at Mystery Science Theater 3000."
Then I realized that while it has the requisite lack of writing, directing, acting, and plot, it probably won't have any science either, even some bad science fiction science to interest the MST3K captors of Joel or Jonah and the bots.
But that 'Hawaiian Sovereignty' theme song - - that's kickin' it on all 3 cylinders!
Four people are in a room and seven leave. How many have to enter again before it's empty?

I've managed to get through two episodes and watched a few minutes of the third before a bizarre active shooter scene made my brain hurt.
