anybody try container growing peanuts?

I pulled up the rest of my plants today. Plenty of peanuts, but I waited a bit too long because I had a few that had sprouted! Next time I know - 14 weeks was a little too soon and 17 weeks is a little too long.

As I understand it, having a few that sprouted means that you pulled them up at the right time. Just return the sprouts to the ground and wait another 17 weeks.

What kind of peanuts were they (red or tan?). Did the foliage start to turn yellow? Did you fertilize them?

I did stick the sprouted ones back into the ground. The skins were red, the peanuts small. The foliage did yellow a bit, not much. I think I fertilized them once.
