Benefit Concert for the Pohoiki Shooter 9/8/2017
#31
"Maybe there's a mother and some kids that are suffering greatly because of the deeds of the father/husband."

This is the case any time a person is incarcerated. Going to jail is supposed to have consequences. Obviously the criminals don't give a sht what happens to their families. If the families choose to support the criminals who throw them under the bus in this manner, more power to them. But good luck finding a lot of community support for criminal behavior.

I am definitely not a puna web regular ... seriously a benefit to help a person who fires a weapon in an area where lots of innocent people go to enjoy themselves so lucky no one was killed . I am sure the family of the offender is getting adequate assistance from the state system. the person who fired that weapon had absolutely no respect or regards for his family. I do not think for one second any of the comments are mean , its more like a reality check .

So shooter A indicted for 2nd Degree Murder while he's out on bail.
And a bench warrant is issued for his " rearrest" ? WHT
So is he on the run now or what?

BTW ^ I think it does matter whom pulled out a gun first. I bet it will be a factor in the trial.
And perhaps the truth and details of the story will come out too.

This is totally messed up.

Why do these thugs have to use firearms? Why not settle it by putting up there dukes? Might get hurt, but won't get dead.

It is rarely the law abiding gun owner that does this stuff. It seems both these clowns had the guns illegally. Making legal ownership nearly impossible doesn't solve the issue.

You're right, it would have been so much better if they both legally pulled out guns and started shooting in a public park.

We did not have this problem here for a long, long time. I think unsecured guns, stolen from irresponsible gun owners,
have armed our petty thieves and made gun crimes much more likely.
Assume the best and ask questions.

Blame the thief that stole them instead. [Wink]

One can have the gun locked in a safe and with a trigger lock, but both can be defeated.

Easy solution, don't have a gun in the first place. That can't be defeated.

So i guess nobody knows if Wilbur has been apprehended again, or if on the run, or if cops are even trying to find him. ?

Paul, your sarcasm is quite amusing. Keep up the good work.
