The Hawaiian Kingdom is in an ongoing state of war with the United States.
The US has been waging a "War on Drugs" for decades, with little or no effect; perhaps "The Hawaiians" can manage this level of "success".

before there was a thanksgiving in Hawaii there was an Independence day for the Hawaiian Kingdom
...recognition of which did nothing to improve relations.
Perhaps "The Hawaiians" should decide who they are and what they want? Because as it is, they've established a reputation for interfering without proposing any meaningful solutions.

Do you actually believe that kalakoa? They may not have declared some unanimous consensus of opinion, and plans that are fixed in stone, but are you really convinced that nothing has been done to develop and articulate a position?

and seems to me to be a bit more than "interfering without proposing any meaningful solutions." Even if you personally may not like it and as such do not consider it a "meaningful solution," it is a whole lot more than "interfering."
And yes you can point out that to date the constitution has not been ratified, and further that many Hawaiians do not agree with it, but still it's a long way from your blanket "interfering without proposing any meaningful solutions" don't you think?

Unfortunately we all don't march to your drum kalakoa. So sorry brah.
As it is many different groups have had gatherings, educational workshops, organizational meetings, on all the islands throughout the state in order to formulate and move forward with their plans. But so sorry you weren't invited, or at least haven't attended and become personally aware of what is happening. So sorry there has not been major news stories so as to satisfy your need for absolutes. But hey, I am sure you'll agree changes of such magnitude take time. Just look at the way the US government is unable to function. Why is it any other group should be expected to do otherwise?
