Enough of this hogwash, it's time to go write another check to the NRA.
What the hell is going on?

They may not be actors Eric but for sure are following a 'script'.
Always consider the reputation of and background from the information source. I wonder why only those kids are the ones that are getting all the air time. If you follow this you will also come across another BRAVE Child who was there whos words and opinions do not fit the MSM narrative. Sorry Rob, we wandering off the Lava here.

hypothetical loopholes that for the most part wouldn't be utilized
Is it a "hypothetical loophole" to expect our elected officials to represent the will of the people?

"Sorry Rob, we wandering off the Lava here."
Perhaps Rob is giving us latitude today because of the importance of the gun topic.

quote: Many students had guns in their cars when I went to high school. Most were in pickup trucks - openly visible in the gun rack in the truck's back window. We had no shootings or threats to do so. The problem is not the guns. It is the parents and children.

Sure, anything that makes it easy for nut jobs to kill a lot of people.
---------- How many of us carry a machete in the vehicle? Of course, here it is generally used for clearing a tree/branches off the road when it falls right in front of you.

"Many schools used to have gun clubs and shooting ranges, with students carrying rifles in bags just like books or an instrument."
Were these assault rifles? No? Then your efforts to protect assault rifles is, at best, severely misguided.

“Video evidence reveals that an armed Broward County resource deputy stationed at Stoneman Douglas High School during the Valentine's day massacre did "nothing" during the shooting - instead waiting outside as a gunman opened fire on students and teachers, killing 17. “

quote: quote: Fertilizer too? Lots of Hawaiian farmers will be screwed if fertilizer is banned, but at least they won't be able to blow up any Fed buildings in the Midwest. Thanks for the non-answer answer. With a _very_ minimum amount of research you can see that assault rifles are already banned. Assault rifles mean _automatic_ "machine guns" as used by the military which can be "selective" between semi-automatic and full automatic. They are illegal. So is the act of hardware modifying a semi-automatic rifle (or handgun) to become automatic (and thus the talk of bumpstocks which is the low tech way to do so). Bump stocks are problematic, especially with large capacity magazines (anything over 8 rounds is already banned in Hawaii I believe)--and you can apparently mimic a bumpstock with very little effort. Even evil Trump appears to leaning that way. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_assault_rifles At least some of the Florida students say assault-like rifles (though I have no idea what that means) in their statements. Shows me they have some understanding of what they are talking about... Cheers, Kirt |
