HPP BIZ: Part the second
#11
OK, I'm going to try and help YurtGirl and Katarina one last time. Read the IRS regulations, and file complaints. If the complaints even appear to meet the criteria for violation, they have to investigate. Make sure violations are recorded and witnessed.

Do you really think the current incarnation of the renegade board is going to be the least bit concerned about a few more angry people showing up at yet another "illegal meeting?" Surely you know by now that they just don't care and will ignore you. If they lose their tax exempt status through an IRS process, they can be taxed into bankruptcy or shut down outright. If it's so important, take the time to learn how to effectively fight back. Posting your outrage on Punaweb is useless otherwise.

I heard a rumor that at the September board meeting the Forensic Analysis was approved and will start real soon. I also heard that the bylaws ballots were reviewed by an attorney to see if the bylaws proposals were compliant with 414D and they are; therefore, members will be seeing the ballots in their mailbox very soon.

As some can attest, the board has no problem using association funds to sue anyone that complains. Be careful. Wonder if IRS takes anonymous complaints.

I think it’s a great idea. The IRS took down Al Capone!

So I hear that there is going to be a meeting this Friday somewhere with the purpose of unseating our president

Word is they plan to take mermaid out of the VP seat. That's what happens to officers of the board who stand up for the members and do things according to law. The ones that don't get rid of the ones that do. Can we stop it? This is really bad news for HPP. So who's going to be president? Creelly district SIX again? Why does this guy keep coming back and getting on the board as president? He's really bad for HPP. The guy that says that the members don't matter the board will do whatever it wants. Or Kathy Shaw district THREE? Very very bad news with that one too.

Yeah Old Croc...I heard the same....the forensic analysis is going to happen soon and the bylaw ballots still have to get printed and then mailed. It's about time!!!

Thanks for the tip, Chunkster. I'll look into it for the wrongdoings we're finding in another Community Association. We don't own in HPP, but it sounds like pages taken from the same book, same kinds of issues. Forensic Analysis? What's that about?

What is a forensic audit?

A forensic audit is an examination and evaluation of a firm's or individual's financial information for use as evidence in court. A forensic audit can be conducted in order to prosecute a party for fraud, embezzlement or other financial claims.

The board did finally approve moving forward with the analysis and the ballots do to 1 board member not caving but the scoop is that once removed they will rescind everything...So now you see why the GM has his hands on everything. He needs to protect his free flowing money at all costs.
