What kinda tiny catchments are empty after 11 days, yet big enough to warrant paying a water hauler to refill?
When I was on kiddie pool catchment I hauled my own in 5 gallon jugs and buckets during the drought.

01/13/2019 A mighty storm from the east will tear down a great house...The drought will end on Friday. "Mark my words"
01/14/2019 Drought ends Friday.
01/16/2019 The heavens will crack and slake the thirst of Ola'a. Mighty Ohia will bow before the storm. The itinerant Pahoans will be cleansed (for a change). This is my word and prophecy.
01/18/2019 Haikila is coming. When night falls early he will make himself known to you. Tend ye to thy clotheslines.
That's four times. Like a quadruple down.
You sure about that? Want to go double or nothing on our wager and pick a different date?

Maybe someone at CD had a flashback. Similar to the "event" at Emergency Management and the missile alert.
Is legalizing pot going to cause us some problems with these particular groups of government employees? Appears to be some hard partiers in there.

Ah I appreciate that comment as I got a good chuckle from it.
So next Friday then maybe huh?
It actually sprinkled some here in HA Saturday morning but less than a quarter inch in the rain gauge.

Okay Randomq I decided to dig this up: The drought will end on Friday. "Mark my words"
This is the most rain I have experienced here in Hawaiian Acres since the start of the dry period. And it's not Friday. Not complaining about it though, it's welcome.
And Mrs. Mimosa's prediction:
From around Jan 10th til March 18th will be on the drier side of wet.In beginning of Feb we may get 1 maybe 2 inches of rain - or not.
Also I remember in the past when droughts have run up to the Merry Monarch festival where it would really start raining.
For those that believe in legend, the ohia lehua flowers aren't supposed to be picked anymore because of ROD.
