EW , i used to wonder if u the type like those who stand in front of the hilo post office. Mindlessly and voluntarily uninformed, parroting random msm talking points. Now i just got my answer.

WMP/PWM b.s. .. has no place on this forum or in our beautiful, diverse little slice . Take it and stow it in ur closed mind.

No. Hell no. This is about as much as I get involved in politics. Hopping on the computer here and there when resting from strenuous labor or if it's monsoon weather outside.

Would never catch me wasting my precious time out there.

Good to hear, EW. You never want to be a full blown rather than just a. Whatever both of those are.

PS. Seems RWR is gone, banned. Best not to ask him or her any more questions. No doubt a new pseudonym will appear soon.

Hmm thanks for the tip Tom and I appreciate the humor. Guess I won't have to cryptically decode those confusing messages anymore. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt even if they continually type their posts in "Minion".

And Terracore, I believed HOTPE posed valid counterpoints to what you said and was curious if you could answer them. I guess you did, (in a way).

I would love to answer them, (thought I did?) but I'm not an every-day on this thread guy.

I know that nobody (on either side) is going to change any minds about politics, abortion, military, gun rights, etc. I just love playing Devil's Advocate because it exercises my brain. Maybe the best exercise it gets.

But...

When I was a freshman in college I got A's for writing essays I BELIEVED in, and one of them was about doing away with one of the basic foundations in our Bill of Rights. The professors loved that sh!t. By giving me A's it promoted me. It took several decades but eventually I realized that I was wrong, and I had become the person my punk-ass younger version had so vehemently demonized back so long ago.

- Albert Einstein

ETA: sh!t (will the censors take it this time?)

@terracore Not even a close comparison.

@HOTPE My comparison has nothing to do with party or voting blocks.
The comparison is:

On a state level: Puna District 4 or 5 > Hawaii County > Hawaii State
On a national level: Hawaii Representative District 2 > Hawaii State > United States

We vote at different levels in both state and national elections already. We always have. We can continue to do so with or without an a Electoral College. Unless you have some information that shows state boundaries can only exist if the Electoral College exists?

Notice how you still did not answer the question?
