TMT "concerned" about "inaction"
#51
Frank - Is your post a joke? or a statement to illegal dark tinted windows should not be allowed because the cops might get shot?

You said the laws were a joke, a JOKE I tells ya - just needed some punchlines. (sort of like the "what's the thing with cops and tinted widows" line - you're too much, really)

But want another? My wife had her driver's test the other day in my illegally tinted vehicle. She got 8 out of 10. The other 2 guys jumped clear. Take my car... please!

Yeah, the road laws here are pretty funny, especially on mountain roads - too bad the joke is on all of us.

Your trying to put words into my mouth; I did not say the Law was a Joke, I wrote "Illegal dark windows can be made safe for $25.00 and is therefore rendered Legal... tickets for this are a Joke...safety checks are a JOKE"...

Ticketing for illegal dark tented windows was suggested as part of a solution to the Mauna situation...lets see the person writing me the ticket has darker tinted windows than I do...whaaat?

I think the law is great...selective enforcement is not
further...the safety check process is a Joke
smile, here's your sticker

Right, the laws aren't a joke, just the enforcement. So just like TMT, you're upset that the road hasn't been cleared yet?

the laws aren't a joke, just the enforcement...haven't a clue as to whether or not the enforcement is a joke...

to your sec pt...I'm not leaning one way or the other, Why, with all the power I have to bring to bear...why should I be upset?

A bit of a twist to the story. It seems someone has been appropriating some of the DOT barricades and hiding them in their tent.

Secondly, the state AG, DHHL and the DOT say the Mauna Kea access road is under "control" and jurisdiction of the DOT.

That's interesting. I just looked at the map of the Big Island on the DOT website and Mauna Kea Access Road isn't on it.

I'm missing something, so please help me out. This seems to be a website showing current projects among other things. And if you zoom in, it does show the access road. I'm not sure what your point is.

Guess I didn't zoom in far enough. I hope you will find it in your heart to forgive me.

Kalianna - no need to even ask! I appreciate your posts despite us having differing opinions. It's not people like you with whom I've lost patience, you come across as intelligent and honest which I really appreciate and respect.
