No contract Tom. That's the problem. Must be ok with you.

The only person reporting there was no contract is Leo.

Got some proof ?

I have no idea if there was a contract or not. Please don't make assumptions about what is or isn't OK with me.

It seems some money was spent on paving roads. macuu222 also didn't mention it was his or her road. It seems our money was used to do what it's supposed to do, and Leo complains about it.

Tom, it looks like you made an assumption that I was complaining about road improvements.
I want improved roads like everyone else but the money spent should be handled professionally. That's my bottom line after all it's my road fee money they're spending. I've seen a lot of waste of my road fee money with other road "improvements" and botched contracts.

Nope...Not my road. I live on unpaved 5th street. But I do bicycle a lot in lower HPP and appreciate a completely paved crossroad close to the ocean

FYI leo :

Contract signed Check
Licensed contractor Check

I met with Ben Leslie from Hokori construction last Friday to discuss the paving contract for 1st Paradise to
Kaloli. We talked about revisions to the contract and timeline for a start date. Ben will be revising the contract and will present to the BOD for approval.

So what does “expired” mean?

"Expired" means the individual did not renew his license, bond, insurance, etc.. "Construction" refers to building. "Engineering" refers to concrete, steel, road building, paving, etc. last I checked.

It looks like their business registration expired but it was after the contract was approved.

The contractor's license is still valid :

Bottom line is a road that needed to be paved, was paved.

I bet the people living on Beach are glad to have some noise and pressure taken off their road.
