Why do we keep accepting flights from China? Considering people are now contagious BEFORE being symptomatic, this seems like a no-brainer

Our only industries are tourism and disaster recovery, so the Chinese flighs are a twofer.

According to this link https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/notices the CDC only has 3 travel notices: green, yellow, red. And China is now at the highest level. So we're at the highest warning not to travel there but they are free to come here.

Not to play the advocatus diaboli but US citizens going into China at this point potentially will have no access to any medical facilities and could be subject to Chinese quarantine without the ability of our government to evacuate them. Chinese travelers coming here face.... I guess I'm bad at this Devil's Advocate stuff, the ability to spread infection and guaranteed access to our medical facilities? Maybe it IS madness?

If you just take the "official" infection figures from CCP. Nearly 25% of those who are infected are in critical condition.
That is a troublesome percentage. Does the risk outweigh the profits.

No risk is too great for those who needn't take it.

I guess I'll finally get to use those 3M masks I bought in 2018.

You know the masks don't stop you catching it, right? But if it makes you feel better, go for it.
