Former POTUS wears no mask while seemingly standing in Hawaii restaurant

PunaGrace, Let me point out a basic fact of posting on a forum like this. You have made your point. You are now trying to get others to agree with you. That can be a bridge too far. Be content with making your point and leave it there.
Assume the best and ask questions.

No I'm just calling out blatant hypocrisy.  I look forward to the day when you scold someone with whom you agree.

The shame...
Not at all.  First, Agent Orange doesn't dine at restaurants.

Second, I could care less if a politician of any persuasion- or a celebrity- would arrange an exclusive, private dinner with a restauranteur and then posed for a photo with them afterwards.  We don't know what the arrangement was, or precautions taken if any. I would guess that they are all vaxxed and perhaps even tested prior to the dinner, who knows?  I fail to see how this is sending the wrong message.

Have you noticed any criticism of this event from right wing media?  Neither have I.  So, they must not be so offended as you.

There was a story last week of Sarah Palin dining outdoors in NYC after testing positive for Covid.  Several news outlets picked it up, yet it didn't get much traction in the "outrage" department.  That was definitely against the "rules", yet it didn't trouble me in the least.

So where's the hypocrisy, and where is the grace?

People I don't know were seen not wearing masks at what was probably a private function at a restaurant I never visit on an island where I don't live.

O the hypocrisy. Cue the righteous indignation.

We can't be sure they weren't all still chewing. You can't catch Covid if you're chewing, obviously!

Perhaps the most telling is that these these same people, are usually the ones who have a carbon footprint of 10,000 punatics combined, decry climate change and rising sea levels all the while they are the ones who seem to have zero problem or fear when buying ocean front properties.

You see, no matter what becomes of the climate change agenda, no matter how much it would cost you personally the rich and wealthy will profit from it, feel none of the pain from it and change zero carbon use because of it. They can afford to pay any of the value added costs associated while guilt tripping you about not doing your part.
