theres one opening in berkeley and alameda, but one already opened in san leandro area...its called Ohana Hawaiian BBQ, more like L&L style but better quality food, nicer ambience.

I saw a place whose sign said "Alohana" near the entrance to the Target at Bayfair in San Leandro. Is that the place you're talking about? I'd DEFINITELY attend a party there!

Oh my gosh Wayne...I used to live with my Aunt & Uncle in San Lorenzo and worked at Bayfair when I was 18! I love that area.

We're in, know San Leandro and San Lorenzo well. Just name a spot!

Carrie 16162 Via Walter, San Lorenzo! Don't think Bay Fair would be your favorite spot now, but the weather is still great, and the cost of a home astronomical.

Carrie, thats too funny, i worked at JCPenny's in high school in the shoe department....used to go to bayfair alot when i lived at mills college and that was the closest mall....in anycase the main poster has not responded so hopefully he will agree to a location / timeframe...sounds feasible for everyone to meet in the eastbay, gives me an excuse to visit family there.

Noel hahahahahah I lived across the street from Mills College on Seminary Avenue and Outlook Avenue. The home we rented belonged to a retired Professor at Mills. When he died his wife added on rooms for her widowed friends. What fun memories!

Yes the East Bay would allow me to visit family also!

The alohana restaurant i know is located in downtown berkeley, its more of a restaurant than L&L type fast food....thats also workable, but downtown area of shattuck - might be harder to find parking.
