I'm only kidding with you it's a bit more and hopefully we will get a few change orders. BTW that is Isemoto crossing at the Fire Station not my guys. Part of their contract is to put the electric in for the flashing lights when the fire trucks pull out.
We will widen both sides, stripe, lighting, turn lanes and put in the driveway.
They aren't even installing new guardrail at the FS we're removing and reinstalling.
The Makuu Market will have a nice two lane entrance and exit with the turn lane in the middle along with the pull out lane heading to Pahoa.

When the door lifts the lights will be activated.[8D]
We hope to have Makuu done in a month and FD by the end of January.

I appreciate your hard work on these two projects.

One question of concern. Is the H-130 Project simply going to over ride everything that is currently being done?

This is something I might have to take up with the state, as it seems stupid that everything that you guys are currently working on... might be re-done in 4 years.[?]

I noticed surveyors working on H-130 somewhere between Kaloli and the transfer station. Also saw some staking. Anybody know what's up?

I'm not sure what that survey work you are talking about is for Sean.

I did notice a Traffic Camera being installed across from Keaau High School Facing the school and there is some Traffic light work being done there right now.

I also got a reply from the project planner recently stating that there will be additional presentations on "Roundabouts" as well as the Puna Makai Alternative Route (PMAR).

Do you know how many years H-3 took on Oahu? It also took several route changes to avoid Iwi as well as cultural sites. I can't find the number of lives that were lost working on it.
