Big Storm to Hit Big Island Today

We were in Kona this weekend and this AM as we drank coffee on our balcony it was partly cloudy. We decided to check out and head to Cost Co and Puna and in that 20 mins all hell broke loose! The big big tree by the King kam broke and all the top 40' was on the ground. The rain was falling in buckets sideways. But by the time we had breakfast,costco, and was passing by Hapuna at 10:45 AM - it was almost sunny. No rain on the way home at all!

didn't rain much over here. we went up to volcano winery and it was nippy and a little cloudy. went down to keaau and much of the same but with a lot of vog on hwy 11. it's still hanging around but there's a gentle breeze blowing.
