Roosters!!!
#31
Boy oh Boy. First it's people griping about Coqui Frogs, now it's Roosters. What's going to be next? Barking Dogs? As I've said before, the Big Island of Hawaii is like a third world country where the locals speak English and use American money, and that's about it. Love it or leave it.

I'd much rather murder a centipede than a coqui frog.

ya gotta love these fourms
yep country is still country
when you get 80 roosters next door you can:
1)record them and play them back real loud at an inconvient time for your pals nextdoor
2)set the dogs on them, you do have dogs right
3)trap mongoose, it's country set the traps and they will come
then loose them on roosters

When crowing continues for ten continuous minutes or intermittently for 30 minutes, it is a violation of the animal nuisance law. Keeping more than two chickens in a residential area is also a violation of the animal nuisance law. If you are having a problem with a neighbor’s roosters, we suggest you try talking to your neighbor first. If the noise problem re-occurs, you need to contact the Honolulu Police Department to file a complaint. Another resource for resolving a dispute with your neighbor is The Mediation Center of the Pacific, 521-6767.

That sounds like Honolulu County law to me, but Damon didn't include an ordinance reference. Does this pertain to Hawai'i County?
