I walked along the coast Tuesday and the waves hitting the shoreline where bursting like depth charges exploding. Wednesday night was cloudy I believe, so very little light from the crescent moon would have shown on the black, rocky landscape. Hopefully she had a flashlight, hopefully she's OK. Recycle Puna. There are certainly bits missing in the story. I'm glad the camper is safe, but how did she end up in Keaau? The link I gave in a previous post now says this:
"This alert has been deactivated and is no longer available." So assume what Paul reported originally was connected to this missing and now found hiker. https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#trash/...6b07d8c970 It's quite a hike from your campsite on the HPP cliffs to Keaau, especially if you set off around 10 pm. |
