Yep. It's a great trip. The Subaru Telescope offers free tours by reservation too.

Very chilly up there.

It was unbelievably cold up there!!! I had to wear gloves and it was difficult to operate the camera, but we had the observatory to warm up in.

Yea, after 15 years in Chicago you would think a little chilly weather would not bother me eh? My blood is thinning. It was 32 degrees and a wind chill factor bringing it close to zero. It was quite a trick to operate my camera with gloves on!
