Pluto TV internet channel, free with ads, is running all 3 Godfather movies on demand right now. I think they are in a class by themselves. I watched the first 2 and tonight I will view the last. Incomparable, especially as a trilogy. They are something like 50 years old and they have not aged a bit.
I never tried Pluto, and I hate watching movies with ads, even if they're free. Have you tried it using an adblocker? The Godfather series is excellent, but I haven't watched the last, mainly because I didn't know it existed.

The Man Who Would Be King seems like an appropriate movie at this point in 2025. Written by Rudyard Kipling, starring Sean Connery and Micheal Caine as two British soldiers who set out for the desolate mountains in one of Stans, Afghanistan, Pakistan…
The poor inhabitants believe the newcomers fantastic stories, are awestruck by their abilities, and technology. Connery & Caine are installed as ruler(s) and set out to make the most of the situation. But unbridled greed of the haves extracted from the have-nots leads to their inevitable downfall, a cautionary tale both then and now.

For anyone interested in modern history, science, warfare in the Pacific, etc., I strongly recommend the 2023 movie Oppenheimer. It has great acting and is a more-or-less true story that has changed all our lives ever since the events it portrayed.
