Was "Ken's name really Tom ?

I actually met Tom and unfortunately KathyH.

No, Ken was not Tom (nor TomK or The Lack). Somewhere I have his real name and a pic of him and his Lexus SUV, double-parked in front of the old Pahoa Video store. He was confronted by someone over the parking and he replied with a number of standard "ken" expletives and phrases. I recognized the wording and said, "Hey KEN" - he turned and he got even madder and I snapped a pic, which drove him on to yet another level. LOL He was a very short, thin guy, white hair. Never saw him inside the old Luquins, Black Rock, etc.
Tom Lackey was very “interesting”.
Ive been on PW since 2012, but seldom post now.
Ive met several Punawebbers at the Keaau Christmas parade get together. All were very nice.

"No, Ken was not Tom (nor TomK or The Lack)."

Thanks I thought it might have been Lackey. He was a fun guy in person but online he was a vulgar disgusting bully.

Ken was the biggest troll to ever post on Punaweb and there were many.

"i dont want to be labelled "chismosa" here but out of curiosity, how is that meeting a certain person became unfortunate? I mean, just for the people who were "absent" during those times. lol"

KathyH always was right and always had to have the last word. She was the same in person.

Just for fun here are KathyH's 43,000 posts on Tripadviser. She was KamaaianaK there.

So then the “glory” days of PunaWeb were about 3 posters who used to post years (decade plus) ago and are now presumed to be dead and yet you’re STILL talking about them?

Time to queue up Bruce:

"So then the “glory” days of PunaWeb were about 3 posters"

The topic is" Ever met a Punawebber"

I have met 2 of the people being talked about along with quite a few others.

FYI, Scuba Sunday that Pam started is still the 1st Sunday of every month at Richardson Beach Park.

The Keaau Christmas parade cookie exchange still goes on every year too.

Gee, I’ve met, am/have been friends with many, in business with, lived next door to, and even been adversaries across a courtroom with a PWer. Not that that was a me against them but rather their cause against mine, and in that instance we, the challenging party, won. But hey, the Big Island is really pretty small.

I liked it when there was a brick ’n mortar aspect here, but then I was younger and had the energy to get out and do all that.. now, not so much. But then you never know. Maybe someone should try to organize something.

A Tale of Two Punawebs.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.

Although admittedly, winter in Hawaii isn’t that despairing.

Does this include suggesting someone needs "some serious lobotomy"? Given that this forum isn't yours, I wonder what your other irrelevant rules are.

YOu tell me.

I never said i own this forum. But i tried to make THIS PARTICULAR thread as friendly as possible hence, i said "PLEASE REFRAIN"

If you wanna talk about it, go back to tthat thread where i said that and Im happy to serve you the best I can.

You never really run out of something to ruin just "almost" everything here .

I guess i was right then. Okay! Thank you for the confirmation.  Angel

Your story would be much more believable if not for your use of the word “chismosa.” Feel free to use “the Google” to get the definition.

At any event, I do find the tall tales of more or less made up stuff, such as double parked Lexus SUV’s etc that some posters need to post so they can feel good about themselves to be quite funny. Making up stories of things that never happened trying so hard to cut another notch on their PunaWeb belt and gain more “street cred.” So sad.

And, as I stated, I too have met several past and current PunaWeb posters over the years.
